Wednesday Night Live - Spring Semester

WNL is for all ages! Preschool (2, 3, and 4 years old) enjoy Bible stories and learning early music skills with colored handbells. The Rev. Dr. Tara Bulger and Dr. Patricia Hacker will work with grade school children (K - 5th) to prepare them to be worship leaders on Children’s Sunday, April 13! Youth have lots of options like the new Homework/Hangout hour and Small Groups all centered around enjoying dinner together at the Youth Table. Adults are encouraged to attend the Jesus the Philospher study with the Rev. Dr. Richard Brooks! Everyone enjoys dinner together and seeing the children play the after-dinner game and circle up for closing songs. Join us!

PKC Lunch on the Square event

Presbyterian Kids Connection (PKC) is our youth group for 3rd - 5th graders! We'll gather in Fellowship Hall at Noon and head out on a downtown adventure! We'll walk to Sam & Greg's for a pizza lunch, then play games in Big Spring Park. We will end with ice cream at the Cozy Cow and then walk back to church. $10 helps defray the cost of lunch. Join us for this yummy event!

Save the Date for VBS

Plan for your children to attend and invite your friends and family! This will be a special week during which we will:

  • Journey all over the Bible exploring stories of the ways in which God used water in care for God’s people

  • Journey all over the world hearing mission stories describing how children in other lands deal with their need for clean water

  • Make crafts from other countries

  • Enjoy music from around the world

  • Join God’s mission to restore the “goodness” of God’s creation, including its water

"Walk with Me" Milestone with Baptism Education Workshop

Children in 5th grade (and older) and their parents are invited to join the Rev. Dr Tara Bulger to participate in this milestone:
- Baptism Education Workshop, February 2, 9:30 – 10:30, in Fellowship Hall.
     - Learn about the sacrament of Baptism and the promises made
     - Discuss the significance of confirming one's own faith
     - Discover who walks with them on their journey of faith
- Celebrate this milestone with a “Walk with Me” blessing and gift of a walking stick, February 9, at the 11:00 service.

"Pray with Me" Milestone

New - Prayer Milestone for 3rd Graders! Children and parents are invited to join Pastor Tara for a Prayer Education Workshop to learn about the spiritual practice of prayer, discuss how prayer is an important part of our life of faith, and discover many different ways to pray.

We will celebrate this milestone in worship that day at the 11:00 service with a special blessing and gifts of a finger labyrinth, a hand-held wooden cross, and a book!

This is a new milestone offered to 3rd graders, but because it is new we also invite any 4th or 5th graders who might be interested. Please register soon so that we can plan for materials.

PKC Wheeler Field Trip

Presbyterian Kids Connection (PKC) is our youth group for 3rd - 5th graders! We'll gather in Fellowship Hall at Noon for a quick lunch, then board the church bus for a field trip out to Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. Park Ranger David Young will be our guide to seeing the amazing Sandhill cranes who winter on the refuge. We’ll be back by 3:00. Please note the later pick-up time. Join us for this super adventurous event!

Christmas Eve Worship 12/24/24

Join Us for Christmas Eve Worship Services are on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. All are welcome!

Nursery - Infants and toddlers may be dropped off in Room 106 from 2:45 to 4:00 p.m.

and 4:45 - 6:00 p.m.

Children’s Church - Children are escorted down to Room 107 after the Children’s Message at 3:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

The 5:00 p.m. Service Will be Streamed here.
