Part-Time Finance Administrator

First Presbyterian Church, Huntsville, AL is seeking to fill a part-time 20 hour/week Finance Administrator (FA) position. The FA will manage all church accounting functions using Church Windows software, handle donations, member statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposit preparation, account reconciliations, financial reports, year-end financial reporting, and accounting year close-outs and start-ups. The FA will manage payroll, employee benefit deductions and payroll reporting requirements. Applicant must possess a high level of proficiency in Church Windows software or another similar financial management software as well as a proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. Experience with ADP payroll desired. Must be detailed oriented and possess superior organizational skills in prioritizing work tasks and in managing electronic and paper filing. The FA must be able to work with a wide range of constituencies and to handle all matters with discretion.
